Media:
We have received such great feedback from the community and are honored to have been featured guests on the following Service Themed Radio Shows and Podcasts.
Please listen to our radio show interview with The Political Pistachio at the below link if you have a little time, and it will explain more about what we offer, stand for and believe in. We are young and learning as we grow, but strong and truly choose to do good in every way we can. We are very proud of the product we are offering.

We were also a featured guest on Army Wife Talk Radio (which has over 4000 unique visitors, as well as all the current and regular users to their site each month) on Monday, June 30th at 9 pm. We also advertise on their website at www.armywifetalkradio.com . Their listeners are exactly the audience we are trying to reach.
In addition, we will be contacting every Family Readiness Group, Enlisted and Officer’s Spouses Club and squadron leaders at all of the over 400 installations we have listed on our site. That is THOUSANDS of our specific audience users that are being notified that we are now online and offer free fantastic information related to their next PCS move. We have created a flyer, and will ask all of these groups to please post it in their offices and distribute it to their club members. Please contact marketing@pcsportico.com if you would like electronic literature or our glossy posters for your office or organization, or would like to talk to us about pcsportico.com in more detail. Help spread the word…
On top of all of this, we were also featured earlier this year on Tara’s Tale podcast posted on military.com. Please click the above link to listen.
Furthermore, be sure to check out our FaceBook page and join one of our hundreds of military specific groups! Or check out our blog at http://angie-pcsportico.blogspot.com
And for those of you out there interested in advertising your business worldwide through pcsportico.com, please read the demographics below as to why it is wise to spend your advertising dollar reaching those of the Armed Services.
Perhaps to a military outsider, this may not mean much, however, we know that the military is a powerful, yet closed group that supports our own…mere word of mouth can go a very long way, and
advertising to the 1.4 million military members and their families is a virtually recession proof market in which to spend their advertising dollars. Service members are going to get paid twice a month, every month, and we are going to move over and over and over again, regardless of what is happening in the civilian sectors.
REACH A RECESSION-PROOF CONSUMER MARKET
Military families are largely unaffected by drops in consumer confidence brought on by recession due to their all but guaranteed jobs. With $80 billion in household income, married military families represent one of the most powerful yet underserved consumer market segments in the world. If women make over 80% of the household purchasing decisions in a family, that number is closer to90% for Army wives. Army wives are in their 20s and 30s, raising young children, buying homes for the first time and in general, in the process of establishing brand loyalty.
Examples of consumer household purchasing decisions made by military families:
• Groceries: over $5 billion spent per year in military commissaries.
• Relocation: military families move every 2-3 years.
• Clothing, cosmetics, sundries, and household items: $9 billion spent per year in military Exchanges alone.
• Investing, insurance, and banking.
• Home purchases, home furnishings, home improvements, and appliances.
• Automobiles.
• Children and infant products.
• Vacation, travel and entertainment.
…..And many, many more!
LOCATE HARD-WORKING TALENT FOR YOUR COMPANY
65% of military spouses work outside the home and especially in a tight labor market, they represent a tremendous way to tap into talent for your company. They tend to be very loyal, hard-working, and ambitious individuals.
AGE DISTRIBUTION OF ACTIVE-DUTY MILITARY SPOUSES
• Total number of military spouse: 1.12 million.
a. Active duty spouses: 688,000
b. Reserve spouses: 428,000
• 92% are women.
• 78% enlisted spouses; 22% officer spouses.
• 57% are 25-40 years of age.
• 73% have children.
• 65% are employed outside the home.
